Music Student Shares His Thoughts on AI in the Industry

Following reports of Google having developed an artificial intelligence capable of creating music based on text and audio prompts, a London based music student has cast his doubts over the technology.  

Dov Osher, 21, said: "AI generated art simply and will never replace art done by humans. Thinking anything else just means you don't get art."

Dov also believes that music is defined by imperfections, something which he says artificial intelligence fails to account for.

He continued: "Additionally, it just doesn't understand the intent side of things."

"Alone, AI will never, unless it gets human brain levels of advanced, will not have an intent behind its art, and intent is a huge part of art."

It is said that Google will not make the software publicly available in the near future, apparently due to issues regarding copyrights and potential prejudices that may become apparent in the audio produced by the technology.

The North London Café of 50 Years

The North London Café of 50 Years A Café in Muswell Hill Broadway has reached its 50th anniversary this year.  Jenny's has been serving customers since it first opened in 1972.  The business prides itself on its "All day every day Full English breakfast", in addition to its homemade burgers and soup.  A 20-year-old frequent patron of Jenny's and cyber security student, who wished not to be named,  said of the café: "I can tell you everyone [that] I made try their milkshakes thinks they are some of the best in North London."  " The food is more expensive than most cafes, but it's alright if you want to eat out with friends."
